Sweetness, night and you.

She walks in the wind,
Like a sweet glitter over muffin,
She sweats the ocean with a cheeks so puffin.

Her feet bathed in sand,
scattering stardust across my homeland.
She grew her own roses,
and in the eras of stolen moments she poses.

She always smells like vacation,
caressing my forehead; ah! Salvation.
There she is, dancing by the moon,
Stars share envy, can’t help but swoon.
Blinking eyelashes, do not seem to bother
I am a lover of night,
And she’s in the sight
I’m drunk on love, forget being sober.
Those black, twinkling eyes!
Look at me, please, kill me twice!

Lost in thoughts, I slip a smile,
When she says with a sore throat;
Don’t forget the coat,
It’s cold outside.

I have never been into writing love poetries but, this man made me write. So, thank you Bharath for helping me with this poem. You are exceptionally wonderful and I am blessed that I am a part of your fan club😝

  1. She smells like a vacation!
    Needing no artificial beautification
    Loving something so pious,
Made my worldly heart go through a right kinda purification.

I might be able to write alot of rhymes using any of your beautiful lines . But one thing is certain the picture of imagination that built from your words in my head isn’t easy at all.
    Keep exploring different genres.
Thank you for writing this and showing us the beauty could there be in love.
Keep helping us see through your specs.
    Keep that precious intact💙!
    Love your work!

What are you? A female Troubadour!
You made me run in my imagination right behind the girl you described.
You are growing day by day as a writer.
You did good job writing this no matter what the motivation you had.
Good job bharath…this is a treat to a fan like us who stay here just to see pillow_thought grow everyday.

      1. Yes that’s what you are💙…
Not being modest at all… just being a true fan.
Because you are the reason I click on WordPress icon at all.

  3. Wow Anushka. I am thankful to Bharath that he made you write this one. You are too good at this too haa. Romantic poetry by Anushka 💛

Wow I am lost in the words. Look at the last stanza which said carry coat it’s cold outside. Such care and affection in the words.

And that one in which it is said
“Look at me, kill me twice”
Just Wow! I am Mesmerized literally. I could feel everything.

    Exceptionally beautiful!
I love you for this poetry ❤️

Thank you so much. Well for me writing love poetries is so difficult..but he really helped me. Infact all the editing and reframing of some lines was all done by him.

And you know how good he is with writing. If he wouldn’t have asked me to write…I would have never made an attempt to this genre.
